The 67-year-old victim of this accident was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who enjoyed motorcycle riding and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, as well as his two children and three grandchildren.

A motorcycle accident can cause serious and life-threatening injuries to riders, largely because a motorcycle does not offer the same protection as other vehicles. As such, motorcyclists are more vulnerable in a collision. The Tennessee Department of Safety reports that there were 143 fatal motorcycle crashes in 2008, with more than 2,500 causing injuries.
The results of a motorcycle accident can be devastating, and a crash is very likely to cause a motorcyclist and his or her passenger severe injuries that may require a lengthy recovery. If you have been injured in a TN motorcycle crash that was caused by the negligence of another party, you deserve proper legal representation to get the compensation you need to heal.
