Professional Background and Legal Philosophy

Lacey is an Associate Litigation Attorney focused on car wrecks and personal injury. Lacey’s entire practice focuses on helping injured people get the compensation they need to get their lives back on track and helping them navigate all the worries of such a difficult ordeal.

Lacey believes that civil litigation is one of our most powerful tools to effect positive change. Helping individuals obtain compensation from wrongdoers not only serves to remedy their injuries but also sends a message that negligent, reckless, and malicious acts will not be tolerated in our communities. Lacey loves to make wrongdoers face up to the consequences of their actions.

Family and Personal Life

Lacey is married to Matthew Rorex, a Chattanooga Firefighter. They have two children, Easton and Logan, and a cat named Ricky. Lacey graduated from Auburn University, but her husband is a longtime fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Even though they are a house-divided, Lacey and her family like to attend as many sporting events as possible to cheer on her alma-mater. Lacey also loves to garden, which is a passion she shares with her grandfather.

Lacey is also a woman of faith. She attends St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Educational Background and Upbringing

Lacey grew up in Snellville, Georgia where she spent her entire childhood playing softball, basketball, and cheerleading. After high school, Lacey broke family tradition of attending the University of Georgia for Auburn University where she received an Academic Scholarship. During her time at Auburn, Lacey lived, studied, and obtained her Italian Studies minor in Sicily, Italy. After graduating with her Political Science degree, Lacey went to law school in Nashville, Tennessee. Lacey began her practice as an attorney in Nashville but is happy to have found her forever-home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
