Professional Role and Responsibilities

Josh is a managing partner and the chief litigation officer at Massey & Associates. As the chief litigation officer, Josh manages the litigation team. Josh takes personal responsibility to ensure that all cases and all clients receive the highest level of expertise, service, and care.

Family and Personal Life

Josh is married to his wife, Brittany. They have two beautiful girls, Laurel and Lily, and a chocolate lab named Coba. Josh likes to take his family on hikes on the Cumberland Trail in the mountains around Soddy Daisy, Sale Creek, and Dayton. Josh also loves to cook, which includes putting pork butt on the smoker or baking cookies in the kitchen with his daughters.

Josh is also a man of faith. He attends Red Bank Church of Christ and North Hamilton Church of Christ.

Education and Background

Josh spent a lot of his childhood at the ball fields. After high school, Josh attended the University of the Cumberlands on a football scholarship. After graduating with his degree in mathematics, Josh went to law school in Montgomery, Alabama. But Josh always knew he wanted to make it back home to live and help people in his home community.

Roots and Motivation

Josh’s roots in Chattanooga are deep. Both of Josh’s parents and even his grandparents are natives of Hamilton County. Growing up in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Josh was always surrounded by his large extended family. After law school he couldn’t wait to return. For that reason, Josh is passionate about helping families that have suffered a negligent injury or any type of injustice.
